The Story
Die Again:TZA is a top-down, mission-based horde survival game built in Unreal Engine 5. The gameplay is built around one core loop: survive under pressure -> unlock temporary power -> turn the fight around -> survive again.
The player is a human/cyborg operative chartered by various organizations to clear zombie-infested zones. It is single-player for now, with possible co-op later, but the current focus is entirely on building a strong single-player core loop, solid replayability, and a clear Early Access foundation.

Design Philosophy
A lot of horde survival games lean into complexity — larger tech trees, lots of stats, dozens of overlapping systems and heavier onboarding.
We are deliberately going in the opposite direction - effectiveness through simplicity. We see this topic like gastronomy: some chefs pile on ingredients and spices hoping to impress; others pick a few quality ingredients and focus on how they combine. We want the game to be easy to understand, quick to get into, readable in motion, but still deep enough to reward mastery.
