12-Month Roadmap to Early Access
Phase 1 — Core Combat and Feel (Months 1–3)
• improve pacing and escalation
• strengthen combat payoff and feedback
• refine targeting / control feel
• improve readability and onboarding
• tighten the pressure-to-power loop
Phase 2 — Content Expansion (Months 2–6)
• design and build 3–5 additional levels with distinct environments, enemy mixes, and layouts
• expand the weapon and ability roster
• implement the broader technology tree
• improve art, animation, environmental detail, sound design, and music
Phase 3 — Intelligence Layer (Months 2–8)
• build the mathematical / simulation framework for parameter tuning
• develop the RL / IL training pipeline in UE5
• train baseline RL agents for balancing and automated QA
• prototype adaptive assistance systems
• validate build diversity, difficulty curves, and map freshness
Phase 4 — Polish, Testing, and Early Access Prep (Months 7–12)
• external playtesting across different player skill levels
• iterative gameplay tuning using feedback and telemetry
• UI / UX polish
• performance optimization
